1. Turning on the cooling pads system is to control the temperature ina workable scope instead of reducing the temperature sharply.

Generally speaking, after starting the cool pads system, thetemperature change should be maintained within 1 degree. For example, it is 30degree today, when the evaporative cooling pads system start working, thetemperature shall be around 29-30 degree. It is absolutely not workable tobring down the temperature greatly.

2. When the temperature is lower than 26 degree, there is no need tofurther reducing the temperature.

3. Before starting the cooling pads system, it is suggested to use theexhaust fans installed on the opposite side of pads to cool the ambienttemperature by wind, which is also called tunnel ventilation.

4. When the poultry cooling system starts working, the cool air shallnot go to the chickens directly. The worker can adjust the wind direction bythe cooling pads panel or other device to change the wind outlet direction.

5. When the cooling pads system runs, temperature difference of thetwo ends of the poultry house shall be controlled within 2 degree by proper useof ventilation fans. When 4 sets of working ventilation fans can do the work,no need to start the fifth fan in order to minimize the air-cooling effect onchicken flocks.

6. To check the sealing of air inlets when evaporative cooling padsstarts running to avoid heat stress in some certain area due to incompletesealing.

7. To check if there are any ventilation blind spots; in case any, itis suggested to add extra side fans or inlets.

8. When the humidity is lower than 50% outdoors, it is suggested notto start the poultry house cooling system; because if turning on the system atsuch humidity, the temperature will be reduced sharply. When the humidity ismore than 80%, it should use the ventilation exhaust fans to cool down thetemperature.
